Vijaypura or commonly called as Vijapur/Bijapur is a historic destination in State of Karnataka. The Gol Gumbaz is a most important landmark and is a mausoleum of King of Adil Shah Dynasty. It’s main feature is the huge dome and Whispering Gallery.

We traveled from Pune by Car and started at 6 o’clock in the morning. We reached the place at 2 o’clock. On the first day we covered the small attractions the city has to offer.

On the 2nd day morning, we visited Gol Gumbaz at 7.30 in the morning. The morning time is the best time to see the attraction as there is no crowd at that time.

The city is maintained pretty clean and food at our hotel stay (Hotel Mayura Adilshahi) was good too.
