Hello all, today’s DIY features another one with jute/twine weaving. I was meaning to change my entry rug to more of my style natural materials with neutral shades.
Things you will need:
- Jute/ twine rope
- Glue gun with glue sticks
- Scissors
- Black acrylic paint with paint brush
Start braiding the twine rope into chain weave or braid normally.
This is the ball of braided twine. I actually ended up making 2 balls of this size. Braid as you go. Next step is to glue it with your glue gun. I use this glue gun and these glue sticks from Amazon, click the link to buy the same.
Look at the textures of these braids!
Next is to paint the words over these, using masking tape I started painting the letters. I decided to write ‘COME ON IN’.
This is the finished look and at my doorstep. Looking good, isn’t it?
