Do you want to add some extra oomph factor to your kitchen? Does your plain rug bother you much? This DIY answers those question. I had a plain rug in my kitchen, which was very boring. I decided to hand paint the pattern on it to transform it.
This was the before look. The plain rug in kitchen was not doing it any good.
Taped the rug to the floor and got my supplies to start.
You will need:
- Stencil
- Fabric Paint- I used Pebeo Setacolor Opaque paint
- Paint brush or sponge
Decide your placement of stencil and start to paint..
After using stencil, I decided to add some small patterns by hand to compliment.
